Payment for 2nd batch of Bonny Constituency Bursary Scheme begins

Abinye Blessing Pepple, member representing Bonny constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced the implementation of payment for the second batch of the Bonny constituency Bursary Scheme.

Ibisoma Bristol, the Chairman of Bonny Constituency Bursary Committee, and S.A Student Affairs to Pepple said payment has been made to 100 students who were first batch beneficiaries drawn from the University of Port Harcourt and Rivers State University.

He said that the scheme is open to students of Bonny extraction in higher institutions across Nigeria and also non-indigine students who are resident in Bonny, adding that the re-verification of beneficiaries for the payment of the second batch commenced on Monday.

The schools listed for the second batch include Kenule Sarowiwa Polytechnic, Bori, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, PH
Port Harcourt Polytechnic, Rumuola, Rivers State College of Health Sciences and Technology and Federal Polytechnic of Oil and gas, Bonny.

Others are Federal College of Technology, Omoku, Lagos Aviation and Maritime Business School, P.H, Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Federal Polytechnic , Oko Anambra State, University of Calabar, University of Lagos and Lagos State University

Bristol said students from the above-listed schools who picked up the bursary form and submitted should send their account details via text to 08131830273
