The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Olaka Nwogu, has been declared the winner of the Rivers South-East senatorial by-election held on Saturday 20 June.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning Officer for the election, Rosemary Ogu, said Nwogu polled 47,961 votes to win the election contested by four political parties.
