Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has commissioned the Major F.G. Berezi Civic Centre in Kaiama, located in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, the governor urged young people to think ambitiously and remain committed to achieving their goals, emphasising that success is attainable through determination and hard work.
He noted that while the government continues to deliver large-scale infrastructure such as roads, bridges, schools and hospitals, individuals also have a role to play in driving development at the community level.
According to him, even modest contributions can make a meaningful difference when combined with government efforts. He therefore encouraged well-meaning citizens to support the growth of their communities in whatever way they can.
