The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that a mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the 2025 admission cycle will be conducted on 28 June.
JAMB, in a statement posted on its X page, said the exercise will accommodate 96,838 candidates across 183 centres nationwide.
According to JAMB, the rescheduled examination will cater to several categories of candidates.
This includes 5,096 spill-over candidates and those who encountered biometric verification failures during the main UTME.

Additionally, a special dispensation has been granted to 91,742 candidates who were absent from either the main examination, the previously conducted resit examination, or both.
The examination body has directed all eligible candidates to commence printing their examination notification slips from 23 June to ascertain their specific examination centres and times.
While the bulk of candidates have been assigned, a number are being kept on standby.
JAMB emphasised that this mop-up opportunity is exclusively for the 2025 UTME.
