EFCC Arrest Three Brothers for Internet Fraud in Benue

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of Makurdi Zonal Command arrested three brothers on Friday for an alleged internet fraud.

The commission disclosed this information via a post on their X handle on Monday, stating the suspects were arrested along New Garage, Wadata, in Makurdi.

The suspects are purportedly reported to “specialize in diverting customers’ funds from their accounts to a Point of Sale (POS), terminal for withdrawal.”

The arrested suspects are Abubakar Sadiq Adejoh, Mohammed Habib Adejoh, and Solomon Adejoh. The various items retrieved from the suspect include a car, six mobile phones, one laptop, and cash totaling N3,562,750.00.

The announcement noted that the alleged suspect will be charged in court immediately after investigations are concluded.
