Controversial street pop artist, Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has officially acknowledged his romantic involvement with Queen Dami, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s spouse.
There were prior speculations regarding the singer’s connection with Queen Dami.
This revelation follows the emergence of chat screenshots displaying affectionate expressions like “my king” and “queen,” accompanied by love emojis, as they conversed. Discussing his bond with Queen Dami during an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast with radio host Nedu Wazobia, the self-proclaimed Ika of Africa emphasized that she became his “queen” after the king.
Responding to the speculations, Portable addressed the matter in a currently trending social media video, stating: “Queen Dami has been my supporter from the very beginning. When I learned about the king’s passing, he remained the ultimate king (after king na king).
My association with her would not have been evident if the king were still alive. I no dey follow person wife.
