Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly turned down a management offer from renowned football agent Jorge Mendes, insisting that his immediate focus remains on Galatasaray.
According to a report by Ali Naci Küçük, published by Habersarikirmizi, the Nigerian international politely declined the offer, saying: “Right now, all my concentration is on Galatasaray.”
Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently from Italian side Napoli in 2025 after spending the 2024/25 season on loan at the Turkish club.
During his loan spell, the striker helped Galatasaray win the Turkish Super Lig before completing a permanent move ahead of the following season.
The 27-year-old attracted interest from several major European clubs during the summer transfer window, with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Juventus, Atlético Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Chelsea among the teams linked with him.
However, Osimhen remained at Galatasaray, where he continues to focus on his football commitments.
Whether the striker will consider a move during the January 2027 transfer window or next summer remains uncertain. For now, the reported response to Mendes’ offer suggests that his immediate priority is his role at the Turkish club.
