Killing of chimpanzee in Bayelsa sparks outrage

The killing of an endangered chimpanzee in Bayelsa has sparked widespread outrage on the Internet with many calling for the arrest of the animal’s killer.

The animal which inhabited Agrissaba Forest in Nembe LGA of Bayelsa State was killed by a local hunter identified as Mark Idumange.

However, when posted on the Facebook on Friday, many called for the arrest of the killer, stressing that the animal is an endangered specie that needs protection.
