Rivers State Command has announced the arrival of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Agabe Kaborlo, as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) following Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu’s, approval.
In a statement issued on Friday by the outgoing spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, she noted that the communication affairs will be carried out by Kaborlo.
Being a native of Ogoni in the Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State and holding a Master’s degree in Laws (LL.M.) from Rivers State University, Iringe-Koko noted that Kaborlo began her journey into the Nigerian Police Force in 2023.
Kaborlo has also completed her 5-year training session at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she bagged a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
She also obtained a professional career in special training in combat and counter-terrorism operations from the Police Mobile Force Training School, Ende Hills, Nasarawa State, and Citizenship & Leadership Training at Shere Hills, Jos.

Some of the strategic posts that have been occupied by ASP Kaborlo during the course of her career include the posting in the Divisional Police Station at Okporo, the posting in the Human Rights section in the Force, and second in command at the Police Public Relations office in the Rivers State Command.
Prior to this appointment, she had been serving in the latter capacity.
According to the command, ASP Kaborlo is a committed and disciplined police officer with a high level of professionalism. It was noted that the Command has high expectations from her for improvement in communication and relationships between the police and the community in the state.
Citizens of the state and members of the media have been advised to communicate with the new PPRO via the telephone and other social media sites.
The Command has assured the people of Rivers State of its commitment to transparency, communication, and good relations with the citizens.
