Rumueme Kingdom Crowns HRM King Dr. Larry Azunda Nsirim

Rumueme Kingdom in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has ushered in a new era of leadership with the coronation of His Royal Majesty, King Dr. Larry Azunda Nsirim, as the Nyenwe-Eli and Paramount Ruler of the kingdom.

The coronation ceremony, which attracted a large turnout of traditional rulers, government officials, community leaders, cultural groups and well-wishers from within and outside Rivers State, marked a significant moment in the history of Rumueme.

King Dr. Nsirim was formally presented to his people with chants, drumbeats and age-long rites that symbolised the transfer of authority and the continuity of tradition.

In his acceptance speech, the newly crowned monarch expressed deep gratitude to the Rumueme people for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to lead with fairness, humility and a strong commitment to peace, unity and development.

King Dr. Nsirim also emphasised the importance of preserving the cultural heritage of Rumueme while embracing modern ideas that can promote education, economic growth and social harmony in the community.

Prominent dignitaries at the event described the coronation as a timely and positive development for the kingdom. They urged the new Nyenwe-Eli to use his position to foster dialogue, resolve lingering disputes and strengthen cooperation among youths, elders and other stakeholders. Speakers also called on the people of Rumueme to rally behind their monarch and support his vision for a more prosperous and united kingdom.

The coronation ceremony featured traditional dances, cultural displays and prayers for wisdom, long life and a peaceful reign.

With the ascension of HRM King Dr. Larry Azunda Nsirim as Nyenwe-Eli and Paramount Ruler, hopes are high that his reign will bring renewed stability, progress and pride to Rumueme Kingdom and its people.
