The Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Chima Njoku, has donated a brand-new wheelchair and ₦2 million to a physically challenged man in the area.
The donation was made during a thanksgiving service at Gateway International Church, Altar of Mercy Grounds, as part of activities marking the chairman’s first year in office.
A video from the event circulating on social media showed the beneficiary receiving the wheelchair and cash donation while expressing gratitude to the council chairman for the gesture.

The beneficiary was also seen celebrating the support as church members and other attendees offered prayers for Njoku, seeking God’s continued guidance, protection, wisdom and strength for his administration.
The donation has attracted positive reactions from social media users, with several commending the chairman for extending assistance to a person living with disability.
The gesture is expected to improve the beneficiary’s mobility and provide financial support for his immediate needs.
