The reconciliation meeting which is going to be chaired by President Mohammadu Buhari is scheduled to hold at the presidential villa by 8pm, theportcitynews gathered.

The minister, on Saturday, insisted that the party must win Rivers State come 2019, lending credence to the upcoming reconciliatory efforts.

Recall that the crisis which has rocked the party after the May congresses led to major bickering of words due to the clash of interests between the minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. It also led to several court rulings with the Supreme Court ruling on October 22 against the congresses and primaries conducted by the party in the state.

From the recent call for a reconciliation meeting, top supporters of both factions confided in Theportcitynews that they believe the decision would be the best and that all factions will abide by it in order to win the forthcoming 2019 elections in Rivers State.
