Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has parted ways with Paris FC after five remarkable years guarding the posts.

Nnadozie joined the French club in 2020 from Rivers Angels and quickly established herself as a cornerstone of the team’s defence.

Renowned for her sharp reflexes, composure under pressure, and commanding presence, she rose to become one of the most respected goalkeepers in European football.

Paris FC announced her departure in a statement posted on its X (formerly Twitter) page on Friday.

“Arriving at Paris FC in 2020 from River Angels FC, Chiamaka immediately became a key part of the team. Best goalkeeper in Arkema Première Ligue in 2023-2024, she left Paris FC after a magnificent victory in the Coupe de France in which she was one of the main players.”

“Paris FC warmly thanks 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐚 for these five years, which will forever leave a mark on the club’s history. We wish her the best for the next stage of her career”, the statement read.

During the 2023–2024 season, Nnadozie was named Best Goalkeeper in the Arkema Première Ligue. In the 2024–2025 campaign, she played a decisive role in Paris FC’s historic Coupe de France Féminine triumph—the club’s first trophy in 19 years.

In the final against PSG, Nnadozie kept a clean sheet and made two crucial saves during the penalty shootout, delivering a performance for the ages and earning herself a place in the club’s hall of fame.

In 2023, she was crowned CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year. Now 24, Nnadozie is widely regarded as the best female goalkeeper in Africa and one of the finest in the world.

As she prepares to lead the Super Falcons to the next WAFCON tournament, all eyes are on where she will play next season.
