Again, paid protesters block Amnesty International’s office

Paid protesters of the Federal Government have blocked the country office of an international non-governmental organization, Amnesty International.

The paid protesters wielding different placards accused AI of being behind Boko Haram and other terror groups.

The Army had in the past asked the organization to leave Nigeria.

A tweet by the organization said the protesters blocked entry and exit points of the office, stopping officials of the agency from carrying out their legitimate daily activities.

The APC-led federal government have become notorious for employing such tactic to discredit organizations taking it to task on the increasing human right abuses, insecurity and widening poverty in the country.
