Final year Rivers State University student killed after his final exam

A final year student in the faculty of Agriculture, Rivers State University, was gunned down by suspected rival cultists.

The deceased identified as Prince Tuaka was shot dead by the unknown gunmen at the university campus a few hours after his final year exams.

According to an eye witness, the deceased was accosted by two men opposite the NDDC female hostel and shot at close range.

The shooting caused commotion in the university as students and workers took to their heels.

Prince Tauaka, according to sources is a member of the Vikings confraternity cult group.

The University authority declined to comment on the matter when contacted by theportcitynews.

However, sources in the university said there have been cult-related killings around the university campus.

According to the student sources, at least five students have been gunned down in the past one week due to the cult clash.
