Hoodlums lay siege on access road in ONELGA

Owing to multiple attacks by hoodlums along the IKIRI-OMUDIOGA-EGBEDA-ELELE road, the chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area, Ifeanyi Odili, has warned indigenes of the area against using the road.

The warning came after a series of attacks on the road by hoodlums on Tuesday, left tens of commuters injured with valuables worth thousands stolen.

Odili told theportcitynews via telephone on Wednesday that his administration is committed to sustaining the existing peace in ONELGA and ensuring its environs are sanitized of crime and criminality.

He advised road users to use alternative routes while efforts are being made through a series of security meetings and engagements by various Security Agents and the OSPAC by the ONELGA Council to restore sanity on the road.
