Breaking: Ahmed Lawan elected Senate President

The Senator representing Yobe North senatorial district in the National Assembly, Ahmed Lawan, has been elected as the president of the 9th Senate.

He got 79 votes defeating Ali Ndume of Borno-South senatorial district.
