Two foreigners abducted by gunmen in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers have been identified as Lebanese.
The workers were abducted on Friday from a site in the local government area while working on a road project, the Rivers state police spokesman Nnamdi Omoni told our correspondent.
According to Omoni: “Some people have been invited for questioning and we hope by the end of today we may close in on the main targets,”

The Rivers State Government has also threatened to stop the ongoing project if chiefs in the area do not bear on their youths to release the hostages.
