The Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Council, Hon. Chima Boniface Njoku, has allocated 10 plots of land valued at ₦100 million to members of his Press and Media Team.
The gesture, which represents 10 plots valued at ₦10 million each, is aimed at rewarding the dedication and contributions of the media aides in promoting and communicating the programmes, policies, activities and achievements of the council administration.
The beneficiaries are Hon. Dagogo Isaac, Hon. Anyanwu ThankGod, Hon. Eke Ugochukwu, Hon. Kingsley Nwanyanwu, Hon. Nnodim Endurance Obenachi, Hon. Dick Alexander, Hon. Temple Okere, Hon. Chigold Obilor Happiness, Hon. Anaebo Lawrence Ikedichi and Engr. Nwoko Ugochukwu.
The allocation will be implemented in three phases, with Engr. Nwoko Ugochukwu, Hon. Temple Okere and Hon. Anaebo Lawrence Ikedichi benefiting from the first phase.

The council said the gesture underscores the chairman’s commitment to the welfare, motivation and recognition of members of his Press and Media Team, whose responsibilities include projecting the activities and achievements of the local government to the public.
Reacting to the gesture, the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Njoku, describing the land allocation as a demonstration of leadership, encouragement and concern for their welfare.
The initiative is also expected to motivate the media aides to remain committed to their professional responsibilities and continue to communicate the programmes and developmental activities of the Etche Local Government Council.
