NLNG Train 7 Boosts Nigeria’s Local Oil and Gas Growth

The NLNG Train 7 project director, Ali Uwais said the Nigerian Oil and Gas Midstream and Downstream Summit is a deal for Nigeria energy ector.

The summit held in lagos sees the NLNG Train 7 project to be finished and working the NLNG company will be able to produce gas going from twenty two million tonnes to thirty million tonnes every year.

This will really help increase the amount of gas that Nigeria exports

This big project, which costs five billion dollars is almost done, with ninety two per cent of the work completed.

Now it is getting ready for the -commissioning phase, which is a very important step. This project is showing that Nigeria is getting stronger in producing gas and making things locally.

Although the NLNG Train 7 project is not about producing more gas. It is also an example of how Nigeria is growing its own industries.

Many Nigerian companies, such as Dorman Long, Coleman, Aveon and Cable Metal are working on the NLNG Train 7 project.

They are making things like steel and cables. Also many Nigerians are getting training and jobs because of the NLNG Train 7 project.

At one point over thirteen thousand Nigerians were working on the NLNG Train 7 project.

This is a big deal. The people working on the NLNG Train 7 project were very safe with two injuries that made people miss work.

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board which is also called the NCDMB said that more Nigerian companies are now working in the oil and gas industry.

This is because of a law that was passed in two thousand and ten called the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.

Before this law there were not Nigerian companies working in the oil and gas industry. Now there are more.

The NCDMB said that the number of companies working in the sector has grown from fewer than ten to one hundred and seventeen. The number of service companies has also grown, to eleven thousand seven hundred and sixty four.

The NCDMB also said that Nigerias local content level has really increased. In two thousand and ten local content was below five per cent..

In two thousand and twenty five it was at sixty one per cent.

This shows that Nigerian companies are playing a bigger role in the oil and gas industry.

The NLNG Train 7 project is a part of this growth and it will help Nigerias oil and gas industry continue to grow.

The NLNG Train 7 project is really important, for Nigerias oil and gas industry
