JAMB Releases Over 1.8 Million UTME Results

JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released another batch of results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).  ‎‎In a notice signed by JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs, Fabian Benjamin, the Board confirmed that results for candidates who wrote the exam on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, are now available.

‎‎A total of 1,264,940 results from the two days have been processed and uploaded.  ‎‎Candidates can check their scores by sending UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019 using the phone number they registered with.

JAMB stressed that this remains the only official channel for result verification. ‎‎The latest release comes after the Board had earlier published 632,752 results for candidates who sat the exam on Thursday, April 16. ‎‎With the new figures, the total number of results released so far stands at 1,897,692.

‎‎Benjamin explained that the release demonstrates JAMB’s commitment to prompt processing and transparency. ‎‎He urged candidates to follow the official channels provided to avoid misinformation or exploitation.  The 2026 UTME, which began on April 16, continues nationwide with hundreds of accredited centres hosting candidates daily.‎‎

JAMB has assured the public that results will be released in batches as the examinations progress, ensuring that candidates receive timely updates.  ‎‎With nearly two million results already out, the Board has reaffirmed its readiness to complete the exercise smoothly and maintain credibility in the admission process.
