Akuro Tobin, Chairman of Okrika Local Government Area in Rivers State, urged his fourteen advisers, six supervisors, and two youth advisers to remain focused, visionary, and proactive.He said this during their swearing-in at the Banquet Hall of the Council Secretariat, according to a statement made available on the state government website.
The supervisors sworn in are, Ebenezer Allison, Abigeal Mitchell, Ebi Johnbull, Mosleyn Mosleyn, Owubokiri Jonas and Adukotubopiri Owuso.The advisers of the council are Tamuno-Opubo Ogbogara, Henry Eremasara, Adukobiayeofori Anji, James Epeya, Asikiyeofori Dennis, Joshua Tomquin, Joe Sylvanus, Lilian Hector, Tamunoitekena Tamunosiki, Tamunobelema Ferguson, Tomonidieokuma John, Alaso Tamunoala, Herbert Amieibi and Ibipriene Adukobiayeofori.Tobin stressed the importance of each appointee understanding the value they bring to the administration and warned against absenteeism, noting that it would not be tolerated.
He advised officials to justify the confidence placed in them and to perform their duties strictly in line with their oath of office.While congratulating the appointees, he called for their full support in achieving his campaign manifesto.

Tobin emphasised that individual growth within the administration is a personal choice, but loyalty is non-negotiable, as the success of the administration depends directly on their performance.
He also encouraged advisers and supervisors to reach out to and assist residents in their wards as part of their service to the grassroots. The Oath of Allegiance was administered by Barr. Benebo Alayemieka. Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in officials, supervisor Allison thanked Tobin for the appointments and assured him that the trust placed in them would not be betrayed.
Meanwhile, the Head of Local Government Administration, Luke Urang, delivered the vote of thanks.The ceremony was attended by stakeholders and dignitaries, including Vice Chairman Charity Ibulubo, PDP Okrika Chairman Hon Vincent Ferguson Bamson, Secretary of Council Dr Kwani Oforiokumo, members of the Okrika Local Government Legislative Council, and other notable personalities.
