‎Vice President Kashim Shettima Meets Newly Elected NACCIMA Executives at Presidential Villa

Vice President Kashim Shettima has met with the newly elected executives of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA, led by their National President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim at the Presidential Villa.

‎Speaking during the meeting, Vice President Shettima reaffirmed that President Bola Tinubu’s bold policies on the economy are being implemented in the interest of Nigerians.

‎He emphasised that the present administration has created an enabling environment for serious business operations to continue in the country.

While identifying some of the bold initiatives taken by President Tinubu which included the removal of fuel subsidy, the realignment of the multiple exchange rate system, and the ongoing tax reforms in the country, Vice President Shettima called for the support of NACCIMA to ensure that these programs are not sabotaged

‎In his remarks Newly Elected President, Engr. Ibrahim who was elected at NACCIMA’s 65th Annual General Meeting which held in Kwara State said they were prepared to woo people from within Nigeria and in diaspora in order to significantly grow the economy and accelerate national development.

‎He also informed the Vice President of his proposed programmes to include youth employment scheme and the NACCIMA’s international university project.
