Security Blocks Sen. Natasha From Entering NASS

Senator Natasha

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has been prevented from entering the premises of the National Assembly complex.

Her vehicle arrived at the complex at about 12:20 pm but was stopped by security personnel at the gate. She, alongside activists Aisha Yesufu, Randy Peters and others, alighted from their vehicles and walked towards the National Assembly complex.

The Federal High Court judgment ordered her reinstatement to the Senate. The court also asked the embattled senator to apologise to the Senate.

Recall that the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Yemi Adaramodu, insists that there was no legal directive compelling Senator Natasha’s immediate recall.
