Emuoha Soole Administrator

The Administrator of Emohua Local Government Area, Franklin Ajinwo, has issued a stern directive to security agencies, urging them to apprehend the killers of Chief Ferdinand Dabiri, the Vice Chairman of the Obelle Council of Chiefs, who was recently assassinated.

Ajinwo made the call during a visit to the crime scene, where he also extended his condolences to the people of Obelle and the bereaved Dabiri family.

Describing the incident as “unfortunate,” Ajinwo issued marching orders to all security operatives in the area to swing into action and bring the perpetrators to justice swiftly.

Ajinwo urged security agencies to treat the case as a serious challenge and pursue the assailants relentlessly, even beyond the borders of the state if necessary.

“Chief Dabiri was a man of peace, a crusader for progress, and a vocal advocate for his people. He paid the ultimate price while championing a peaceful cause. We owe it to his memory to ensure justice is served.

“I know you have the capacity. Do everything within your powers to arrest him and his conspirators, and chase them to wherever they are even outside the state to face the full weight of the law.”

The administrator also revealed that plans were underway to restore normalcy to Obelle and surrounding communities. He called on residents to remain peaceful, resist attempts by mischief-makers to incite unrest, and assist security operatives with timely and credible information to prevent a breakdown of law and order.
