Nigerian musician Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan, and his long-term partner, Davita Lamai, have formally announced plans for their upcoming wedding ceremony.
The announcement occurred aboard a private flight carrying several Nigerian entertainment figures traveling to the wedding of music executive and talent manager Soso Soberekon over the weekend.
Musician Teniola Apata, known as Teni, initially disclosed the news to fellow passengers while documenting the gathering on video.
”So Zlatan and his wonderful wife are going to be having their wedding,” Teni stated during the recording.
Following Teni’s statement, Lamai confirmed the news directly and extended an invitation to the creative industry professionals present on board the flight.
”I just want to extend an invite to everyone. I’d love to have you all there. It will be so nice to have everyone there,” Lamai said.
Zlatan concurred with the announcement, confirming that formal preparations for the ceremony are currently underway. The couple did not publicly disclose the specific date or geographical location for the planned event.
Zlatan, who founded the record label Zanku Records in 2020, has maintained a prominent presence in the Nigerian music industry following his professional breakout in 2018. Lamai and Zlatan share a child together, born in 2020, and have maintained a long-term personal relationship alongside his recording career.
