A yet to be identified body has been found dumped at Aggrey Road Port Harcourt.
Residents say they woke up to the stench of the body which was dumped at a refuse dump in the area.
Sources say the deceased was a professional sex worker in one of the famous brothels at Victoria Street.
They said she was taken out on a home service by an unknown ‘customer’ on Sunday and appeared dead on Thursday.
Residents who spoke to our correspondent said the killing of ladies by unknown persons have intensified, adding that the latest was the third victim in the past three weeks.
They called on the government to evacuate the body as its presence will lead to a health hazard.
They also called on the police to track down serial killers who are targeting young girls in Port Harcourt.
The Rivers State Police Command has not responded to our enquiries for comments as at the time of filing this report.
