Breaking: Nwanosike invites OSPAC to help end crime in Ikwerre LGA

Following the directive of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to Local Council Chairmen to help in the fight against criminal gangs in their area, the Chairman of Ikwerre local government area, Samuel Nwanosike, has invited members of OSPAC to help fight crime in the area.

OSPAC, a local vigilante group operating in the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of the state has helped reduce crime in ONELGA communities.

On Tuesday, the local vigilante group arrested 11 suspected kidnappers terrorizing the Emohua Axis of the East-West road after laying bait for the deadly kidnappers by posing as travellers.

The LGA chairman and the group had a meeting at the LGA headquarters in Isiokpo on Friday of which the details are yet to be made known to journalists.
