Port Harcourt: Man dies after mixing tramadol and dry gin

A middle-aged man has reportedly died at Okomoko in Etche LGA after taking a mixture of dry gin and tramadol.

TPCN gathered that the young man, simply identified as Chibuike, who is popularly known as Achi, died on Thursday evening.

Eyewitness account stated that the deceased had gone to a bakery to beat another young man whom he had accused of snatching his girlfriend from him.

It was gathered that he collapsed on the way to his house immediately after beating the other young man.

However, when his pockets were searched, a bottle of dry gin, tramadol, lighter and a penknife was found in his pocket.

As at the time of filing this report, the police have arrested both the boy he had accused of snatching his girlfriend and the said girlfriend.

His body has been deposited at the Stella Marris Mortuary, Igbodo, Etche – Rivers State.
