Activist hails CP for arresting suspect with human skull in Ogoni

By Brave Dickson

A security activist, Godspower Ipianeh has commended the new Commissioner of Police, Rivers State, Nwonyi Polycarp Emeka for arresting a notorious suspect identified as Ojukwu in Ogoni.

During a daring raid on his hideouts, the security agents recovered two AK-47 rifles, one Pump Action gun and a human skull.

Speaking with our correspondent, Godspower was quoted as saying that: “The news came to us with joy because insecurity has been one of the reasons, hindering development in Ogoni.

“If I may ask: What would have been the business of the young man with two AK 47 riffles and human skull right here in Ogoni land?

“It means he was here to dent the image of the Ogoni people by doing what was destructive to the development of Ogoni land.

“We have to commend the current state Commissioner of Police who has made some giant strides within the short period of time he has been CP in the state.

“The CP is showing much concern and he has demonstrated that he is a professional police officer.”

Narrating how the raid was made, the Chairman of Khana LGA, Thomas Bari-ere told newsmen that the arrest resulted from an intelligence which the council authority got privy to and immediately alerted the police.

Bari-ere said, “we receive intelligence that one of the suspects in police custody by name: Ojukwu has a place where he stores his arms as well as human skull.

“He uses them to administer oaths on his victims for them to keep his identity secret.

“So we alerted the security operatives, and the Bori Police Division, alongside the anti-cultism unit and they acted swiftly.”
