Gunmen suspected to be assassins have attacked the convoy of Senate Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South in the national assembly.
Ubah was attacked at Nkwo Enugwu Ukwu on Sunday evening by gunmen but he managed to escape in his bulletproofed SUV.
His aides, including over four police officers were killed during the attack.
The Anambra State police command is yet to comment on the development.
