Clara Duruebube, wife of accused Bishop shows solidarity with husband

Mrs Clara Peters Okpara Duruebube, the wife of Pastor Felix Okpara Duruebube has expressed her support to her husband after he was accused of raping a 16-year-old girl.

Recall that the Rivers State government took over the prosecution of the cleric after an audio conversation of the accused and a teenager leaked online.

The 39-year-old pastor of Mercy House Church International, was last month remanded at the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre by a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Accused person was arraigned on a two-count charge by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID).

Reading the charge, Chief Magistrate had said Bishop Duruebube between the month of April 2021, to May 2022 had unlawfully and sexually abused the teenager.

Reacting to the development, Mrs. Duruebube took to Facebook to stand in solidarity with her husband.
