As Nigeria Super Eagles get ready to take on the rest of the group for the world cup in Russia later in the year, Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi has declared his readiness to put up a good performance for the country.
The skilful midfielder played pivotal role in Nigeria securing the ticket to the competition.
Iwobi declared his readiness while talking to FIFA ahead of the mundial.
“It was always my dream as a kid, so I can’t
wait to be involved. I’m looking forward to
the atmosphere and wearing the colours of
Nigeria. I feel like I can do well.”
Iwobi has so far scored 4 goals for Nigeria in 15 games.
