Nwakali’s Maastricht to play in the play off

MVV Maastricht on Monday qualified for play off in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.

Nwakali joined the Dutch side during the winter transfer from Arsenal on loan for a second spell and has proved to be a vital player for the team.

The play off place was confirmed when direct opponent Des Bosch lost 1-2 to Emmen.

It means that Des Bosch cannot catch Maastricht, who are on 50th points.

The opponent of Maastricht will be known on Saturday which is the final match day, but Volendam and Almere is their likely opponent.
