MMA: DFC fight night to hold in Port Harcourt

The Dynamite Fighting Championship, DFC will hold its first fight night for the year tagged “The Region of Heroes 2” DF6 this Friday, 19th March 2021, at Eddiz Wine Bar, Old GRA in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The event was initially postponed from March 12th due to the recent loss of one of the Directors of the Dynamite Fighting Championship, Nyebuchi Nkoro who passed on in the early hours of Tuesday 9th March after a ghastly accident.

DFC6 which begins from 5 pm on Friday will feature mixed martial artists registered with DFC Africa, Nigerian Mixed Martial Artists, and World Muay Thai Organization, WMO fighters.

In the main card, highly rated Ebere N who has impressed recently will challenge the explosive and resilient Peace Umeh for the National Super WelterWeight women’s title.

Super striker Jackie Ayana takes on Daniel “Danny The Great” Iwouha of the International Heroes’ Institute of Mixed Martial Arts for the National WelterWeight title and Cornel “Marineboxer” Thompson faces a tough test as he locks horns with fast-rising Olisake “Entertainment” Tobechukwu.

DF6 is one of three fight nights scheduled for the year 2021 and is in collaboration with the Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts Federation, NMMAF.
