The University of Port Harcourt will on Monday elect a another acting Vice-chancellor, following the expiration of the tenure of Professor Steve Okodudu.
Okodudu was appointed the acting VC of the University in June to settle mountains of dispute orchestrated by the former VC, Professor Ndowa S Lale.
According to sources, the federal government asked the university to conduct an election to select a another acting Vice-chancellor that will steer the affairs of the institution pending when a Council will be formed.
