Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State has partnered with the Niger Delta Creative Industry Expo (ND CRE8 EX 2026) to provide skills development and business opportunities for young creatives.
The five-day expo, organised by Mega Fun Plus Limited, will hold from December 1 to 5, 2026, in Asaba, Delta State, with the opening conference and awards ceremony scheduled for December 1 at Asaba Film Village.
The convener and Project Director, Ogusbaba Akpobome Ogude, commended Bonny Council Chairman, Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple, for supporting the participation of young creatives from the area.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Ogude said the partnership demonstrated the importance of investing in young people’s talents to promote employment, entrepreneurship and economic growth.

He said the initiative would provide participants with opportunities to acquire new skills, connect with industry professionals and explore business prospects in Nigeria’s creative economy.
According to the organisers, the expo will feature masterclasses, exhibitions, networking sessions, a creators’ boot camp and discussions on artificial intelligence, technology, intellectual property and creative business development.
The activities are designed to help participants develop, protect, commercialise and expand their creative works while connecting them with investors, brands, policymakers and other industry stakeholders.
Themed “Empowering Creatives, Unlocking Opportunities,” the expo aims to strengthen the Niger Delta’s creative economy by connecting talent with capital, technology and markets.
Ogude expressed hope that the partnership would encourage further investment in young creatives across the region, adding that the organisers would continue to collaborate with public institutions, private organisations and community leaders to expand skills development and business opportunities.
