Candle light sets apartment ablaze in Port Harcourt (Pictures)

A 15-room apartment in the Bundu area of Port Harcourt was burnt down on Thursday morning following a candle lit by one of the tenants of the building.

The incident which occured around 3:am resulted in no human casualties but properties worth millions were destroyed.

A “>Facebook user who uploaded pictures of the aftermath of the fire on his timeline said the house belonged to his aunt, adding that nothing was removed from the house.

“Candle fire from a tenants room burns down an entire 15 rooms building of my mum’s elder sister in less than 1hr at Bundu, Port Harcourt, with no belongings of her’s or her tenants saved in the process. This occurred around 3am this morning.

“Pls help me pray for her and her tenants to have the fortitude to bear the loss”.
