TCN lifts suspension on PHED

The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has lifted its suspension against Port Harcourt Electric Distribution Company, PHED.

The suspension was issued against PHED on July 28 for failing to comply with market conditions and market agreements.

The suspension left parts of Port Harcourt like Borokiri and state secretariat without power.

The company in a tweet wrote: “Nigerian Electricity Market Operator has today, 19 August lifted the Suspension & Disconnection Orders issued Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company after the DisCo complied with the Market Conditions/Market Participation Agreements”
