Judge sent my international passport to Wike – AAC presidential candidate alleges

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that a judge of the Federal High Court sent a picture of his international passport to the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, over the leadership tussle which engulfed the party.

He was reacting to the ruling of the Federal High Court, Abuja which on Friday upheld a suit seeking to stop him from parading himself as the party’s national chairman.

The court, presided over by Justice Inyang Ekwo, also ordered Malcolm Fabiyi to stop parading himself as the AAC’s deputy national chairman.

The orders followed an application in a suit instituted on May 17 by the acting National Chairman of the party, Leonard Nzenwa.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the court had granted the orders after an application by the plaintiff, through his Lawyer, Barrister Emeka Ozani.

Sowore, who was also the party’s presidential candidate in the last general elections, vowed to appeal the ruling.

According to him: “As you all can see ALL the mainstream media outlets @mobilepunch @vanguardngrnews @channelstv are happy that a compromised Judicial pronouncement said our solid defence did not count because I was not the one personally deposed to an affidavit challenging the fraudulent attempt

“The mainstream media never reported all the filings we made in court that essentially put a lie to all the fraudulent claims being used to steal @aacparty, they were mobilized to court today by @govwike who couldn’t hide his interest. A judge gave a ruling with no basis in law”
