The Super Falcons of Nigeria will face South Korea later today in their second match of the on-going FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

The team lost three nil to Norway in the first group A match of the tournament and will be looking forward to redeeming their image against South Korea.

The match will take place by 2 pm Nigeria time at the Stade des Alpes, Grenoble.

Meanwhile, Super Falcons head coach Thomas Dennerby is expecting a tough encounter against South Korea in Wednesday’s Group A clash at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

While reflecting on the team’s unfortunate loss in Reims, the 59-year-old coach, who is upbeat about a Round of 16 place, insists beating the South Koreans remain their top priority for now.

Also speaking ahead of today’s game, Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala is confident the team can earn their first win at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France against South Korea today.

Oshoala said the ladies are in high spirit to get the job done against the Asians and boost their chances of Round of 16.

However, defender Faith Michael has been ruled out of the team’s remaining campaign at the World Cup due to a knee injury.

The Super Falcons sit in the third position in Group A with no point and need a win against the Asians to keep alive their hopes of reaching the next round.
