Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, have officially tied the knot in a private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
Ronaldo, 41, confirmed the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photo of their hands displaying wedding rings alongside the caption, “C (heart) G.”

The couple’s representatives described the ceremony as “private and intimate”, with their five children reportedly in attendance.
The wedding came exactly a year after Rodriguez, 32, announced their engagement on social media, ending years of speculation over when the couple would formalise their relationship.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2016 and are among the world’s most recognisable celebrity couples, with their combined social media following exceeding 750 million.

Rodriguez has also built a successful career in fashion and entertainment and stars in the Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, which chronicles her family life and relationship with Ronaldo.
The couple chose Cascais, a coastal resort about 30 kilometres west of Lisbon, for the ceremony. They also own a villa in the area.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez first met in Madrid in 2016 while Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store. She has previously described their first encounter as “love at first sight.”
Their marriage marks a new chapter in a relationship that has evolved from a chance meeting into one of the world’s most high-profile celebrity partnerships.
