Dog shot dead after biting school pupil to death in Rivers State (Graphic Pictures)

A rottweiler dog on Wednesday was shot dead by a police officer after it ate a school pupil to death in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers.

The incident happened at Tessy Road, Rumuagholu area of the local government.

Theportcitynews gathered that the gate man of the house where the dog lived, opened the gate and the Rottweiler ran straight to a school owned by Assemblies of God church in the area.

It was gathered that once inside the unfenced school, the dog ate a pupil of the school to death.

The dog also pounced on another child and ate up her buttocks before being shot dead by a Mobile Police Officer stationed in the area.

It was learnt that second victim is receiving treatment at Spring Rose Hospital along Rumuagholu road while the gate man of the house has been arrested by the police.
