NUPENG launches wars against adulterated lubricant dealers

National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, in Rivers State has said it will begin the clampdown of substandard and adulterated engine lubricant dealers.

The union also warned that apart from destroying the said adulterated lubricants, it will also seal-off shops where such products are sold.

Mr Segun Johnson, the Rivers State, Chairman of Engine Lubricant Dealers of NUPENG who gave the warning in Port Harcourt cautioned that all engine lubricants sold within Port Harcourt and its environs must be certified by Standards Organisation of Nigeria, SON.

According to him “You will have problems with NUPENG, SON and security agencies if you as a dealer fail to adhere to instructions.

The SON operation is on and we are co-operating with them.”
