Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Ahoada, Right Reverend CLEMENT EKPEYE has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Our reporter Tina Amanda gathered that Right Reverend CLEMENT EKPEYE was abducted at gunpoint last night at the Bishop’s Court, along Odiemerenyi road in Ahoada-East Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Clerical Synod Secretary of the Diocese of Ahoada who confirmed the incident to our reporter has requested for prayer for the Bishop just as he pleaded with the kidnappers to release the victim.
However, Public Relation Officer Rivers state Police Command, DSP NNAMDI OMONI, confirmed kidnap of the Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Ahoada to our reporter.
He noted that the command is working seriously to track down the hoodlums, stressing that men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad have been sent on a manhunt to ensure the rescue of the clergy.
