Spiff charges Pharmacists to keep to standard

The first Military Governor of Rivers State and the Amayanbo of TwonBrass, King Alfred Diete Spiff has commended the Rivers State chapter of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria for their efforts at patients’ care and safe drugs dispensing.

King Spiff, who was a distinguished guest at the 2018 RiversPharmacyWeek on Wednesday, charged PSN to ensure that quarks are eradicated from the system.

According to him, it behoves on Pharmacists to ensure that drugs being sold are up to standard, a practice he said will limit complications from different ailments.

King Spiff further urged them to work with relevant sister organizations to ensure that sanity is brought back into the system and restore peoples’ confidence in the use of quality drugs.

Meanwhile, PSN president, Ahmed Yakasai, performed the foundation laying of a MultiMillion Naira Pharmacy Resource Centre of PSN, Rivers State Branch in Port Harcourt.

The complex when completed will house Laboratory for drug quality assurance, a centre for Vaccines storage, Drug and Poison Information Centre and a bottling plant for Aquapharma
