Rivers APC vs Rivers APC: Justice Nworgu’s absence stalls judgement

Judgment in the matter instituted by one Ibrahim Imah of the Senator Magnus Abe’s faction of the APC in Rivers state was stalled on Monday, following the absence of the trial judge, Justice Chiwendu Nworgu in court.

Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, was billed to appear for the Ojukaye Flag-Amachree & his Excos while Henry Bello is the Counsel to the claimants.

Recall that Abe’s faction instituted a case against the Rotimi Amaechi’s faction at the Rivers State High Court over the conduct of the party’s congresses in May. A counter-suit by the Amaechi’s faction at the court of appeal seeking to vacate the orders of the high court was rejected in June.

Theportcitynews gathered from the Court registrar that a new date will be communicated to parties involved the suit.
