It further advised anyone who suspects an Ebola infection or believes they may have been exposed to the virus to contact health authorities without delay.
Residents were specifically directed to call 07032788072 before visiting a primary health facility if they suspect an infection or possible exposure.
The board also called on residents to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information and cooperate with health officials to protect their families and communities.
It emphasised that early reporting of suspected cases is essential to saving lives, enabling prompt response and preventing further transmission of the virus.
The board urged residents to take the preventive measures seriously and share accurate health information with others to strengthen community awareness and preparedness against possible Ebola outbreaks.
