Arteta Signs New Four-Year Arsenal Contract

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new four-year contract that will keep him at the Premier League club until June 2030.

The Spaniard’s previous deal was due to expire next summer, but Arsenal have now secured his long-term future after a successful spell in charge.

Arteta, 44, was appointed Arsenal manager in 2019 and has since established himself as a key figure in the club’s recent success.

He guided the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 22 years last season after three consecutive second-place finishes.

Arteta also led Arsenal to only the second Champions League final in the club’s history, although they eventually lost to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.

During his time at the Emirates, the former Arsenal midfielder has also won the FA Cup and three Community Shield trophies.

Speaking after signing his new contract, Arteta described remaining at Arsenal as a privilege and expressed his excitement about continuing the club’s progress.

“It’s a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal,” Arteta said.

“This club is unique, its character and the way it makes you feel, and I have a great sense of privilege that our journey together will continue.”

Arteta’s new deal provides further stability for Arsenal as the club continues its pursuit of domestic and European success under his leadership.
