Vice chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon Vivian Obiageri Amadi, said that by presenting an official vehicle to her, that the council chairman, Barr Chidi Lloyd has proved his critics wrong.
Amadi also noted that by the model of vehicle presented to her that the chairman has succeeded in setting a new standard for other political office holders.
She stated this on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, while expressing appreciation to the council boss, shortly after receiving her official vehicle.
She prayed God to continuously rain blessings upon him and bring the success of the local government council under his administration.
In his part, the council boss reaffirmed his unwavering commitment towards inclusive leadership, mutual respect and welfare support, with a view to ensuring effective service delivery in the local government council under his leadership.
While handing over the Toyota Highlander (2016 Model) to the vice chairman, Lloyd said the little delay in the provision of official vehicles for the vice chairman and other principal officers of the council was as a result of his administration’s commitment to the quality and durability of the vehicles.
He assured that the local government under his leadership will always go for the best and nothing less.
The Emohua council boss prayed for safety and protection on all engagements of the vehicle and the activities of the vice chairman, while wishing her a pleasurable experience with the official vehicle.
This is happening amid protest by some alleged staff of the local government, who have unrelentingly called on the council boss to pay them an alleged three years and eight months salary.
